This is what I’m working on…

It occurs to me that I spend a lot of time referencing things I’m working on inside of the Twitter realm, wrongfully assuming everyone knows what I’m talking about.  That’s a mistake I make because I am not sure about talking in-depth about what I’m working on in case something changes or doesn’t pan out.  Despite the uncertainty and the accompanying voice saying “No don’t”, I am going to talk about what I’m working on:

Duelity is a narrative poetry series which is the direct continuation of The Birth of Axis.  It focuses on the relationship of Nine and Axis, two young men who meet on a bridge and connect through their desire to kill themselves.  Also worth noting is this story has a lot to do with The Statue and The Siren, it is actually vital to where the story is heading.  The idea behind Duelity is to provide a constant stream of content, it will be split in multiple parts to be released weekly much like a TV show.

I’m currently working on the 2nd draft, it’s coming along a lot slower than I thought.  The story in my head didn’t match what made it to paper for the 1st draft, realizing that was a big moment for me.  The goal is to have the 3rd draft done before the end of the year, maybe that will be the final draft or maybe it won’t.  I have no way of knowing at this time.

Deserve is a short story, the first I’ve written for me and it was a joyful experience.  It is about a man with a shovel and a head full of ideas, it’s a colorful little ghost story.  I’m looking forward to diving back into it next week, then I’m sharing it with a couple of friends for funsies. 🙂  The goal is to have it ready and posted by the middle of October.

I have other projects and ideas going but I’m not ready to talk about those yet.  I’m more excited about writing than I ever have been before, I hope if you’re following along that you find something to get excited about too.

Thank you for reading.

Also don’t worry, not everything from this point forward will begin with the letter D.  I promise.
